We'll learn essential painting techniques, including color mixing, brushwork, and how to apply paint to create light, shadow, and atmosphere. All art equipment and materials are included.

Day 2: Modern Art Inspiration & Medieval Urban Drawing

• Morning: Egon Schiele Art Centrum Visit.

  • Immerse yourself in modern art with a visit to the renowned Egon Schiele Art Centrum in Český Krumlov. Discover the works of Egon Schiele and other 20th and 21st-century artists, gaining diverse artistic perspectives and contemporary inspiration before our drawing session. This art museum visit offers a fascinating contrast to the town's medieval charm.

• Afternoon: Urban Drawing in Český Krumlov's Medieval Heart.

  • Today, we immerse ourselves in the fairytale charm of the medieval town of Český Krumlov. We'll wander through its picturesque cobblestone streets, discover hidden alleys, and find enchanting spots along the Vltava River. We will lead an urban sketching workshop, teaching you quick and expressive drawing techniques to capture the unique character of the historic architecture and vibrant street life. This Český Krumlov drawing class is perfect for developing your observational skills and creating a stunning travel art journal. All portable drawing materials are included.

Day 3: Castle Garden Inspiration & Ink Painting

We'll explore its exquisite landscapes, collect natural materials, and capture inspiring photos, focusing on the vibrant, multicolor fish in the castle garden lake. • Afternoon: Expressive Ink Painting in the Studio.

  • Back in our unique garden art studio, inspired by the morning's discoveries, we will guide you through an ink painting workshop on watercolor paper. We'll learn expressive techniques to capture the fluid movement and vibrant colors of the fish and the natural elements of the garden. This Český Krumlov painting class offers a wonderful opportunity to experiment with new mediums. All ink, watercolor paper, and art supplies are included.
